Cesar Travado was born in Spain and started at Pensacola Yacht Club in September 2017 as Sailing Director.
He has managed several National and Internacional Teams in Spain with success for the last 20 years.
He has sailed in Optimist, Cadet, Laser, Snipe and cruisers in ORC handicap system. National Champion (2), European Champion (2006), 2nd World Championship 2014 and many other titles and awards during his excellent career as sailor.

As a coach and Sailing Director, his Teams have won National Titles (6 times), European Championship (5 times) and World Championship in 2011
He has been involved in organizing several National, European and World Championships, some of them leading the Organizing Authority. He has been a member of the Snipe Class International Racing Association Promotion Committee and, from January 2018, Executive Director for the Snipe Class Spanish National Association.

Jules Heitman has grown up around Pensacola Yacht Club. She was raised around motorboats and learned her way around sailboats at a very young age. She followed in her family’s footsteps when she began sailing camp at age 6.
After years of loving sailing camp, she became more involved at age 10 and joined the Optimist racing team, now sailing the Laser. She also volunteered throughout the summer as a counselor for the Pensacola Yacht Club Sailing Camp.
Jules is US Sailing Level 1 Certified Instructor, CPR certified and holds her boater’s safety license. She has been volunteering at Pensacola Yacht Club for 8 summers and loves teaching children the joys of sailing.
Jules will attend the University of South Florida majoring in biomedical science with plans to attend medical school. She graduated from West Florida High School.
She loves everything about the water and is eager to spread that love to the sailing campers this summer.
Sara Fe White started sailing at PYC over 10 years ago.
Graduated from Pensacola High School IB Program in 2018.
She is a Junior at the University of Florida and majoring in History and Criminology and planning to attend Law School.
She is US Sailing Level 1 Certified Instructor, CPR and Boater License.
2020 will be her 5th year working at Summer Sailing Camp.
Dominic Leccese’s passion for sailing began 10 years ago as a junior sailor at PYC. He is a 2018 graduate of Catholic High School and will be attending Spring Hill College in August. Dominic has been an instructor at Junior Sailing Camp for 3 years. He is also a certified US Sailing counselor and CPR/AED certified. Dominic looks forward to working at camp again this summer.
Addison Jones is an avid sailor who races competitively and also enjoys coastal cruising on his family's sailboat. Addison spends the school year in Tennessee where he attends Cookeville High School, and he spends his summers at his grandfather's in Pensacola. Addison was introduced to racing sailboats crewing on a Vanguard 15. Next, he sailed Optimists and traveled extensively with PYC to many USODA regattas. After Optis, he moved on to Laser Radials and now passionately races on the Laser/ILCA circuit. Addison attended PYC Sailing Camp as a camper in 2012 and 2013, volunteered as a PYC Sailing Camp Counselor from 2014-2018, and is now in his 2nd year at PYC as a US Sailing Certified Level 1 Instructor. Addison is SafeSport Certified, CPR/First Aid Certified, and has his Florida Boaters License. He is excited to share his knowledge of sailing with the beginning sailors and racers as well as the adult classes again this summer!
